That'd leave plenty of points for whatever summons, honestly just maxing grizzly so you have 2 castable distractions that last longer than 5 seconds to toss behind archers/mages will help dramatically. You don't necessarily need 80 points into shapeshift to be good max fury or maul (wolf vs bear) and lycanthropy with good gear will carry you just fine. I understand this comparison is wolf to bear so not like-for-like - but maxed werewolf would only deliver 3-5% additional physical and magic damage redux vs a wolf barb, and less damage + a significant drop in defense compared to a werebear. As someone that really wants to play my druid, at what point does shapeshift become superior? Is the struggle necessary - or can shapeshift druid see some buffs especially to early/mid scaling vs similar melee such as zeal or frenzy barb?
